I'm Jorge, and I find joy in creating with my hands new colors and shapes that, in combination with textures, bring a bit of peace to the mind.
Sometimes I wake up with a vivid image in my head, or it comes to me during the day. When that happens, I feel a need to express it quickly, before it fades away, like the details of a dream that slip from your memory if you don't write them down.
When you look at one of my paintings, I hope you can lose yourself and forget the world around you. My paintings are not about the colors, the shapes, or the textures. They're about what you feel when you look at them.
My hope is that each painting becomes a small bubble of calm to which you can return whenever you need it.
